2027 Summer Assurance Internship | McKonly & Asbury

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal (May 18th, 2027 – July 29th, 2027; at least 32 hours/week)
• Location: In-person Camp Hill, Lancaster, or Bloomsburg, PA

• Team: Supports assurance, tax, and advisory teams
• Mission: Support assurance, tax, and advisory teams by developing core technical competencies and providing excellent client service.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), firm software and tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Produce clear, accurate, and well-organized work papers and documents for various engagements.
• Communicate: Interact professionally and effectively with clients and senior team members regarding progress and developments.
• Manage: Appropriately prioritize and manage time to efficiently complete tasks and approach assignments in a logical, organized manner.
• Analyze: Perform basic analytical reviews, identifying inconsistencies or unusual activity in financial accounts.
• Develop: Become proficient in firm software and tools to effectively support assurance, tax, and advisory team functions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level accounting major enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with proper grammar and clarity, alongside the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
