The Tone:
This is an internship at McKonly & Asbury, located in Camp Hill, Lancaster, or Bloomsburg, PA. • Mission: Develop core technical competencies and provide excellent client service to support McKonly & Asbury’s assurance, tax, and advisory teams.
• Tech Stack: Firm software and tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Recognition: Recognize fundamental auditing, tax, and consulting issues and concepts.
• Documentation: Prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized work papers and documents.
• Proficiency: Become proficient in firm software and tools required for daily tasks.
• Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members.
• Analysis: Perform basic analytical reviews, identifying inconsistencies or unusual activity in financial accounts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level accounting major enrolled at an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), along with an interest in the public accounting industry as a career choice.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, proper grammar and clarity, professional skepticism, and a commitment to intellectual honesty and integrity.
