• Mission: Ensure accurate and timely general ledger accounting and financial reporting to support John Deere’s operations and global challenges.

What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Operations: Perform daily and monthly general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Specialized Accounting Focus: Concentrate on fixed assets and leasing processes within general ledger accounting.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and various business partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Financial Statement Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Efficiency & Compliance: Support the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: University degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance, covering AP, AR, or GL functions.
• Skills: Practical knowledge of SAP, advanced Excel skills, English B2 proficiency (both written and verbal), strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach, and effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bonus: German language proficiency; knowledge of US GAAP.
