The Tone:
This is an internship at UBS, located in Nashville, TN. UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager, recognized as the leading universal bank in Switzerland, with a presence in over 50 markets worldwide. This role offers ambitious students the opportunity to contribute to the Global Wealth Management business, assisting with critical daily operational tasks and supporting initiatives that drive efficiency and accuracy for high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations Support: Assist with daily operational tasks supporting wealth management activities, including transaction processing, data reconciliation, and account maintenance.
• Process Enhancement: Support process improvement and AI initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy across the Operations team.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Client Services, Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
• Program Participation: Participate in various projects and speaker series throughout the 10-week paid internship to deepen understanding of the industry, clients, and firm.
• Skill Development: Work with experts and mentors to develop new skills and make professional contacts within the financial industry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028. Entry-Level with an interest in the financial industry.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required. Candidates should demonstrate analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; align with values of being hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated, and collaborative; possess strategic thinking and strong communication skills; and be motivated to work in a demanding business with tight deadlines.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, organizational skills, problem-solving, strategic thinking, strong communication, experimental and responsible use of AI.
