What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Focus: Focus on projects related to cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization versus expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deduction.
• Client Relations: Work directly with clients to identify and resolve issues as they emerge.
• Compliance Knowledge: Maintain a current understanding of relevant code, regulation, and administrative pronouncements on tax incentives.
• Relationship Building: Develop relationships with clients and staff, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
• Documentation Support: Assist clients to ensure proper documentation of credits and deductions in accordance with IRS regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level role requiring a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Experience: Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and completion of the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.
