MBE CPAs is an accounting firm that has expanded into an affiliate group, offering a wide range of services across 19 office locations, including 13 in Wisconsin, and dedicated to helping clients with their financial journeys. As a paid intern, you will be treated as a valued team member from your first day, gaining hands-on experience alongside department leaders and professionals who are committed to your development through training, mentorship, and support. This internship also offers opportunities for intern-focused networking, development, and check-in sessions, alongside participation in team and office-wide lunches, celebrations, and events. This Business Operations Intern role is vital for maintaining the smooth operation of the business by supporting critical administrative processes and document workflows, especially during a busy time of the year, while also providing exposure to potential career paths within the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Workflows: Support document workflows by diligently scanning and organizing a variety of client documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for team members.
• Client Account Setup: Efficiently set up new client accounts, contributing to the streamlined onboarding process for individuals and businesses.
• Return Assembly: Carefully assemble completed client returns, ensuring all necessary components are present and accurately prepared for delivery.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and client support as needed, assisting with various tasks to ensure efficient daily operations and client satisfaction.

• Background: Pursuing a degree in business administration, accounting communications, or a related field; this is an Entry-Level opportunity designed to provide foundational experience for college students.
• Experience: Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products for various administrative tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and document management.
• Skills: Possess strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in handling client documents and data; exhibit a strong commitment to client confidentiality; demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to assist with changing priorities and team needs; possess strong oral and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
