The Tone:
This is an early career rotational program at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, based in Las Vegas, NV. Southern Glazer’s is North America’s largest total beverage distributor, a well-regarded family-owned business established in 1933, known for investing in its people and fostering a supportive culture. This program is designed to develop the next generation of operational leaders, providing a strong foundation in logistics, warehousing, and distribution. The role is critical for building a future leadership pipeline, ensuring continued excellence and innovation in the beverage distribution industry.

• Team: Part of a rotational cohort, mentored by senior leaders, supporting supervisors during the program, with eventual progression to a supervisory role.
• Mission: Develop future operational leaders by providing hands-on experience and leadership training in logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate through Outbound, Inbound, Logistics, and Inventory Control functions, taking on real leadership responsibilities and supporting supervisors.
• Lead and manage operational improvement projects with measurable results, contributing to efficiency and safety within operations.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, safety, and employee engagement.
• Support supervisors in day-to-day operations and actively motivate frontline employees within the warehouse environment.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leaders, culminating in a Capstone Project presentation to Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits executives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be graduating with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in December 2026 or May 2027. Preferred degrees include Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, or related fields. This is an early career program designed for entry-level candidates ready for leadership.
• Experience: Internship or prior work experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehousing is preferred. Demonstrated leadership experience through sports, student organizations, community involvement, military service, or past employment is also preferred. The role requires willingness to perform overnight work during the 3-month outbound rotation.
• Skills: Possess strong leadership potential, with the ability to effectively connect with and motivate diverse teams. Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. A comfort with data, analytics, and relevant technology is also preferred. Adaptability and resilience are necessary to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bonus: Must be 21 years old or older at the start of the program. Willingness to relocate after program completion or travel as business needs require is expected.
