Senior Manager, Creative Operations | WHOOP
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at WHOOP, located in Boston, Massachusetts. • Pay: $130000–$170000 yearly
• Team: Creative and Marketing organizations; reports to Director of Brand Operations & Production
• Mission: Ensures complex, high-visibility creative and marketing initiatives, including product releases and integrated brand campaigns, are efficiently planned, resourced, and delivered at scale.
• Tech Stack: project management platforms, digital asset management systems, workflow automation, AI-enabled tools
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead complex, high-visibility creative and marketing initiatives from planning through delivery, establishing clear scopes, timelines, owners, dependencies, budgets, and decision points.
• Operate: Autonomously operate across fast-moving initiatives, proactively identifying risks, resolving roadblocks, navigating tradeoffs, and escalating when appropriate to keep work moving forward.
• Plan: Own resource, capacity, and budget planning across assigned projects and workstreams, identifying workload imbalances, financial risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency and prioritization.
• Develop: Develop and implement scalable operational systems, processes, and ways of working in partnership with the Director of Brand Operations & Production, driving adoption and continuous improvement.
• Manage: Manage and coach Creative Operations team members while supporting the evolution of the Creative organization’s operational infrastructure.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with core domain knowledge in creative operations, marketing operations, project/program management, or agency operations.
• Experience: 8+ years experience leading large-scale, complex creative or marketing initiatives with significant budgets, balancing scope, resources, timelines, and financial considerations; includes experience managing and developing individual contributors.
• Skills: Strong understanding of creative development workflows, resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization; proven ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, influence cross-functional stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment; strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with autonomy; commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks.
