What You’ll Actually Do
• Risk Analysis: Analyze business information, financial data, and industry trends to evaluate risk for commercial customers.

• Client Collaboration: Partner with brokers, customers, and internal teams to understand client needs and develop tailored insurance solutions.
• Skill Building: Build strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills essential for a successful underwriting career.
• Strategic Decisions: Make informed business decisions that balance customer needs with profitable growth objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with 0-2 years of relevant experience, holding or completing a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Must have permanent work authorization in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license for regular travel to customer locations. Willingness to complete professional designations and ongoing insurance education is required.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiating abilities, alongside solid interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
• Bonus: A strong academic record with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
