What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare work papers, trial balances, and depreciation schedules.
• Enter data for various computer applications.
• Draft engagement correspondence.
• Gather data necessary for tax return preparation.
• Maintain the tax library and organize client tax and auditing files.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a major in accounting.
• Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
