The Tone:
This is a seasonal, temporary internship at Welltower™ Inc., located in Dallas, TX. Welltower is the world’s largest real estate company by market capitalization, focused on transforming senior living and wellness-focused real estate by creating purpose-driven communities where housing, healthcare, and hospitality converge. This role offers the opportunity to be immersed in high-priority work from day one, gaining hands-on experience within the dynamic Accounting teams. The intern will apply quantitative skills to directly impact the company’s financial operations, playing a critical role in planning, directing, and coordinating corporate accounting functions to deliver long-term value.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare and post journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage: Support vendor management and relationship tracking for financial operations.
• Decide: Assist with daily line of credit balance decisions.
• Ensure: Contribute to compliance monitoring, information gathering, and workpaper organization.
• Optimize: Participate in process improvement initiatives and assist with operational and compliance reviews tied to corporate policies and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for a current undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Accounting.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required.
• Skills: Quantitative skills, financial reconciliation, compliance documentation.
• Bonus: Previous internship and/or work experience is preferred.
