Resort Lifestyle Communities is a family-owned company established over two decades ago, specializing in providing all-inclusive, independent, resort-style 55-and-over senior living retirement communities across the nation. This role offers a college student a practical opportunity to gain valuable experience in a corporate accounting setting, directly supporting the Accounts Payable Team and the broader Accounting Department by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of critical financial transactions. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining efficient operations and supporting the company’s commitment to service excellence.

The TL;DR

• Team: Works collaboratively with the Accounts Payable Team within the broader Accounting Department.
• Mission: Responsible for validating coding, entering invoices, and processing vendor payments, while assisting others with accounting processes, systems, and questions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Validate the coding and accurately enter invoices into the accounting system, meticulously reviewing for accuracy to ensure quality, consistent, and complete information is posted in adherence to company policies.
• Vendor Payments: Efficiently process vendor payments, ensuring timely disbursement and proper record-keeping for all transactions.
• Issue Resolution: Collaborate directly with RLC Community Managers to effectively solve invoice and vendor related issues, facilitating smooth financial operations.
• Transaction Reconciliation: Complete and precisely reconcile company credit card transactions, verifying all charges and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Team Support: Work collaboratively in teams to process bi-monthly check requests and conduct monthly food cost reconciliations, contributing to broader departmental accounting efforts.

• Experience: No specific prior professional experience is required, as this internship is designed to provide hands-on training and exposure to corporate accounting processes.
