This is a seasonal internship at CohnReznick, located in Houston, Texas. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal Internship
• Location: Hybrid – Houston, TX
• Team: Engagement Team, comprising other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. Interns are also assigned a Performance Coach for goal setting and feedback, and a CR Friend for peer support.
• Mission: Support audit teams by gaining hands-on experience with accounting and auditing practices, and exposure to diverse clients and industries.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement: Work on all aspects of an audit engagement including cash, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable.
• Liability Management: Search for unrecorded liabilities and maintain confirmation logs.
• Work Paper Preparation: Prepare audit work papers.
• Client Support: Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services, helping the team with daily client workflow.
• Issue Resolution: Take part in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, on track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility. Must have a minimum 3.2 GPA in both the major and overall, and have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher.
• Experience: Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and embracing change, and possess advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with an eagerness to learn new technologies. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
