What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare client tax returns.
• Tax Research: Conduct basic tax research to support client needs.
• Conceptual Learning: Absorb foundational tax concepts vital for a tax professional career.
• Team Collaboration: Work as a team member on both domestic and international client engagements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in tax, accounting, or a similar field. Entry-level. Must be scheduled to meet educational requirements for CPA licensure in the assigned work location prior to full-time employment.
• Experience: Relevant prior work experience, such as other internships, summer positions, or school jobs.
• Skills: Proficiency in Excel; Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments; Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment with professionals of all levels.
• Bonus: Availability to work/travel evenings or weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) when needed; Possession of a car may be required for travel to client sites.
