Assurance/Tax Intern (Phoenix) | Eide Bailly

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time (40 Hours/week)
• Location: In-person Phoenix, AZ
• Mission: This person will gain hands-on experience by participating in client engagement meetings, preparing accounting reports, or completing individual and business tax returns to help clients succeed.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Participate in client engagement meetings as part of assurance engagements.
• Travel: Travel to client sites with the team (10-40% travel required) for assurance responsibilities.
• Prepare: Prepare accounting related reports for assurance clients across a variety of industries.
• Complete: Complete individual and business tax returns at varying difficulty levels for clients in many industries.
• Analyze: Analyze tax situations to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied for clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and on track to sit for your CPA license.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required.
• Skills: Inquisitive nature for learning about various client business processes; proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; interest in a variety of industries; commitment to highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
