What You’ll Actually Do
Tax Return Preparation: Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns for diverse clients under the direct supervision of experienced professionals.
Financial Data Analysis: Gather, organize, and meticulously analyze client financial information to support the accurate completion of tax processes.
Tax Issue Research: Conduct thorough research on specific tax issues and clearly summarize the findings for review and application by the tax team.
Planning and Projections: Assist with various tax projection and planning projects, contributing to strategic financial advice for clients.
Technology Application: Utilize firm-specific tax software and other integrated technologies to efficiently prepare, track, and manage client returns throughout the busy season.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or taxation, with graduation expected 2026, and actively working toward CPA exam eligibility.
• Experience: Entry-level experience gained through academic studies in accounting or taxation, demonstrating a foundational understanding of financial principles.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, a genuine desire to learn and comprehend the complexities of the tax code, proven good organization and effective time management capabilities crucial for deadline-driven periods, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a proactive comfort with learning and quickly adapting to new software and firm technologies.
