The TL;DR

• Mission: Support audit, review, and compilation engagements to ensure financial accuracy and provide valuable business insights to clients.
• Tech Stack: Excel, audit software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engagement Support: Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements for various privately held businesses, financial institutions, and governmental entities.
• Performance Testing: Perform testing on account balances and transactions, thoroughly documenting your work within audit software.
• Document Preparation: Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules essential for audit engagements.
• Information Gathering: Help gather and organize client information, engaging with clients both on-site and remotely.
• Professional Development: Participate in team meetings, professional trainings, and direct client interactions to further your learning.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• Experience: Working toward CPA exam eligibility, with graduation expected within the specified date range.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, clear written and verbal communication, proficiency in Excel, comfort learning new technology, and willingness to travel to client sites and between offices.
