• Mission: To develop emerging finance talent through a comprehensive two-year rotational program, providing critical financial analysis, reporting support, and strategic insights that contribute directly to Sunbelt Rentals’ operational efficiency and sustained business growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Engagement: Participate in a structured two-year Financial Leadership Program, completing four six-month rotations across diverse finance and accounting functions to build cross-functional expertise.
• Financial Reporting & Controls: Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses, ensuring accurate financial reporting and identifying control improvements.
• Strategic Financial Planning: Contribute to company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives, developing financial models, conducting variance analyses, and preparing materials for leadership decision-making.
• Operational Finance Support: Analyze business unit performance drivers, margins, and productivity metrics; partner with operational leaders to support financial and capital initiatives, identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.
• Financial Systems Optimization: Develop understanding of financial systems and reporting platforms, assist with reporting structure development and maintenance, and contribute to process automation and data integrity projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. This is an early-career opportunity requiring a strong academic foundation.
• Experience: Relevant internship or prior professional experience is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving.
• Bonus: A GPA of 3.5 or higher, a desire for continuous learning and development of cross-functional finance skills, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment.
