What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Maintain precise fund operations by ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded and processed.
• Valuation: Calculate net asset values to provide accurate performance metrics for funds.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile financial transactions to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for investors, communicating financial performance clearly.
• Client Service: Work closely with colleagues and external partners to address client concerns and deliver outstanding service.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A four-year college degree is required. This is an early career position, suitable for recent graduates or individuals looking to develop skills in fund accounting through a structured training program.
• Experience: No specific prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided during the initial three to six months.
• Skills: Professional verbal and written communication, a strong focus on client service, quick learning ability with new systems and technology, adaptability in evolving environments, detail-oriented organization, and a team-oriented approach to building positive relationships.
