What You’ll Actually Do
• Budgeting Support: Support the budgeting and financial planning process for Ally’s business lines, including Auto Finance, Insurance, and Ally Bank.
• Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and variance analysis for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting routines.
• Report Production: Produce financial reports and attribution analyses for senior leadership, covering areas like interest rate risk, regulatory capital, and capital markets portfolio activity.
• Reporting Development: Develop presentations and dashboard reports for senior leaders and business partners.
• Data Automation: Assist in data aggregation, data visualizations, and report automation, while collaborating with internal partners.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, pursuing an undergraduate degree (graduating between December 2026 and June 2027) majoring in Finance, Data & Analytics, Statistics, Accounting, Applied Math, Engineering, or Computer Science, with strong curiosity about Finance and/or the financial services industry.
• Experience: 0+ years of experience and experience in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office.
• Skills: Academic aptitude, quantitative skills, critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Bonus: Proficiency in data analytics, data visualizations (Power BI, Tableau), coding languages (Python, SQL, R), exposure to AI, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
