The TL;DR

• Pay: $25–$32 hourly
• Mission: To assist the tax team in gathering client information, preparing accurate tax returns, and ensuring compliance with deadlines to maximize tax benefits.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Information Gathering: Assist in gathering relevant tax-related information from clients to support accurate tax return preparation.
• Return Completion: Work with the tax team to ensure individual and business tax returns are completed correctly and by the required deadline.
• Return Preparation: Assist in preparing high-level returns for multi-million-dollar manufacturing companies or high-net-worth individuals.
• Benefit Optimization: Look at various tax situations from multiple angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied.
• Relationship Building: Network and build professional relationships across the Firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and on track to sit for the CPA license.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; interest in a variety of industries.
• Skills: Ability to maintain the highest professional standards and strict client confidentiality; enjoys keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry’s regulations and policies. Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
