What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relations: Develop relationships with both clients and firm employees.
• Accounting Functions: Become proficient in assisting clients with routine accounting functions.
• Engagement Preparation: Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
• Financial Statements: Draft financial statements under prescribed formats.
• Market Research: Conduct a market research project and present findings to firm leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, completing a bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university, with at least 75% of the degree completed.
• Experience: Demonstrating progress towards CPA exam eligibility. Must be willing to travel locally to clients 80%+ of the time and have access to a car or public transportation.
• Skills: Good communication and computer skills, ability to work as a team player, motivation for a professional environment, customer-focused approach, and capability to multitask effectively.
