What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage comprehensive financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts, for designated business units.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and prepare related supporting schedules, ensuring accuracy across all accounts.
• Transaction Management: Prepare journal entries and maintain detailed supporting schedules and documentation for all financial transactions.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze and explain variances within Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts to provide financial insights.
• Tax & Audit Support: Prepare and file applicable sales tax returns and assist with year-end audits and banking-related audit procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required, suitable for an early career professional.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred, with proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software.
• Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, a strong understanding of financial calculations, and exceptional attention to accuracy and detail.
• Bonus: Public accounting experience and/or CPA certification is a plus.
