The Tone:
This is an Analyst, Revenue Accounting role based at Hilton’s corporate office in Memphis, TN. Hilton is a global leader in hospitality, celebrated for its award-winning culture and commitment to providing exceptional experiences for both guests and Team Members. In this role, you will be crucial to supporting a customer-focused shared services experience by performing daily accounting activities, completing reconciliations, and investigating revenue data variances. You will partner with hotels and other teams to resolve issues, contributing directly to the efficient operation of revenue accounting.

• Mission: To support a customer-focused shared services experience by performing daily accounting activities, completing reconciliations, and resolving revenue-related issues.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Operations: Complete revenue-related accounting activities in adherence to established procedures and controls.
• Reconciliation & Analysis: Prepare reconciliations for various hotel revenue streams and point-of-sale interfaces, investigating variances and analyzing high-volume revenue data.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve discrepancies and escalate complex or high-risk items to appropriate channels.
• Stakeholder Support: Respond to revenue-related accounting inquiries from hotels and internal partners, providing timely, customer-focused support.
• Process Collaboration: Coordinate with different teams to resolve data, process, and system issues, and participate in testing and implementation of system enhancements and process changes.
• Team Development: Crosstrain on various team activities to strengthen coverage and ensure business continuity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should possess core domain knowledge in accounting, finance, audit, or related analytical fields.
• Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of accounting, finance, audit, or related analytical experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large-scale data analysis are essential. The role also requires availability to work on weekends based on the close schedule.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is useful. Prior experience in hospitality, revenue accounting, or a shared services environment would be beneficial, as would experience supporting process improvement, system testing, or hotel transition activities.
