Operations Leadership Program | Carrier

The Tone:
This is a full-time, geographically mobile program at Carrier, with three 12-month rotations across North Carolina, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and/or Florida. Carrier is a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, dedicated to creating innovations that bring comfort, safety, and sustainability to life. This role is crucial for transforming Carrier’s Operations, enabling the company to effectively buy, build, and continuously improve the creation of products and services for customers worldwide. You will contribute to the vital link between product design, marketing, and ultimate customer delivery.

• Pay: $53000–$106000 yearly
• Team: Part of the Operations organization, rotating through various business units including Climate Solutions Transport, Climate Solutions Americas – Commercial, & Climate Solutions Americas – Residential.
• Mission: To drive transformation across Operations by deploying continuous improvement initiatives and building a comprehensive foundation for an exciting career in operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Engage people, strategize, and deploy initiatives using diverse skills to meet business and career challenges.
• Lead: Lead the continued deployment of Carrier’s continuous improvement operating system across factories by obtaining a Carrier Excellence Certificate.
• Support: Support global strategic sourcing and supplier development initiatives.
• Learn: Learn the core concepts of manufacturing by applying cutting-edge technology and lean principles.
• Network: Develop a cross-business, cross-functional network and receive mentoring and guidance from Carrier Operations Leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, or a Master’s Degree candidate currently enrolled in a graduate program.
• Experience: For Bachelor’s degree candidates, 2 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Facilities management, or Construction. For Master’s degree candidates, an expected graduation date of Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027.
• Skills: Must be geographically mobile and willing to relocate for rotations. Maintain a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. Capacity to lead, motivate, and influence through effective communications.
• Bonus: Relevant internship, co-op, or previous work experience. Strong commitment and interest in a career within Operations. Proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
