The Staff Accountant will play a central role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with accounting standards. This position is vital for supporting financial reporting, comprehensive budgeting, and detailed analysis, requiring strong collaboration with various cross-functional teams.

• Mission: Manage the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, meticulously review and post journal entries, and continuously monitor transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• AP/AR Oversight: Oversee all Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and customer collections.
• Close Processes: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating closely with other teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Budgeting and Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitor performance closely, provide detailed variance analysis, and conduct financial analysis to support informed decision-making and identify cost optimization opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, demonstrating proficiency in full-cycle accounting, which includes financial reporting and month-end close processes, and a strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles.
• Experience: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in full-cycle accounting, along with proven strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent organizational and time management skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, a highly organized approach with attention to detail, and an analytical mindset equipped with problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: CPA certification or active progress toward CPA, continuing education in accounting or finance, knowledge of tax regulations and compliance standards, familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools, or prior experience in the consumer services industry.
