• Mission: Accountable for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas.

What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all entries are supported by appropriate documentation.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations of general ledger accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Accounts Receivable Support: Perform cash application duties, manage collections processes, and facilitate dispute resolution for outstanding accounts.
• Financial Planning Support: Complete the monthly forecasting and budgeting processes within the assigned scope of responsibilities.
• Audit and Compliance: Assist with external audits by supplying necessary documentation and explanations, while ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with an emphasis on foundational accounting principles.
• Experience: 0-1 year of previous accounting experience or completion of an accounting-focused internship.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: Progress towards or attainment of a CPA certification, and experience utilizing SAP, Blackline, or Esker systems.
