• Location: In-person in Albany, Buffalo, East Aurora (Spring Only), Rochester, and Syracuse, NY
• Pay: $22 hourly
• Mission: To provide hands-on support for client engagements across tax, small business advisory, or assurance services, contributing to real client work and gaining practical experience.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office applications
What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare individual, small business, or corporate tax returns and assist with tax research and planning projects.
• Assist with bookkeeping, accounting functions, and financial statement compilations for small businesses.
• Support year-end audit engagements, specialized projects, and employee benefit plan engagements within assurance.
• Analyze financial information and supporting documentation while collaborating with experienced accounting professionals.
• Develop technical accounting knowledge and build skills that prepare you for a career in public accounting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Active enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s in accounting program; coursework supporting progress toward CPA eligibility.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and analytical abilities; attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
