The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person Lincoln, NE
• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Accounting Manager, coordinating with assigned projects.
• Mission: To perform basic accounting functions and contribute to optimizing how accounting information is managed and distributed.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounting Functions: Coordinate and perform basic accounting functions as directed by the Accounting Manager.
• General Ledger Management: Reconcile various general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Asset Tracking: Label fixed assets, contributing to accurate asset management records.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis of financial forecasts and budgets to support departmental planning.
• Internal Audits: Assist in tracking and conducting independent internal audits across Sandhills Global’s financial and accounting areas.
