Management Trainee | Carmeuse
The Tone:
This is an early career, full-time role at Carmeuse, a leading global producer of lime, high calcium limestone, and dolomitic stone, with over 90 production facilities worldwide. These essential products serve energy producers, environmental services, construction, and manufacturing industries. As a Management Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive rotational training program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the organization’s diverse operations, from mining to sales, and how each department contributes to Carmeuse’s overall success and mission.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotational Training: Gain comprehensive understanding of departmental functions by following rotational training programs across various departments like mining, operations, supply chain, HR, safety, and sales.
• Project Engagement: Apply learnings to real-world tasks and projects through hands-on engagement, fostering practical skill development in a supportive environment.
• Mentorship: Receive guidance, feedback, and support throughout the training process by participating in mentorship partnerships with subject matter experts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop a holistic understanding of business operations through active collaboration with various cross-functional teams.
• Project Management: Drive efficiency improvements and achieve departmental goals by working on assigned projects, demonstrating innovation and problem-solving.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite. Willingness to travel and work in plant and field settings as required by the role.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making, excellent oral and written communication skills for effective correspondence and reporting, proven problem-solving and decision-making ability, and proficiency with SAP systems.
• Bonus: Familiarity with other ERP systems is considered a plus. Possessing a positive and proactive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team environment.
