RÖDL USA is a professional services firm that provides accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting to foreign-owned mid-sized businesses, primarily German-speaking and European family enterprises operating in the U.S. This role offers critical insights and practical experience in international auditing, accounting, and tax projects, contributing directly to the comprehensive support of the firm’s global client base.

• Mission: Gain practical experience in international accounting, auditing, and tax to support the firm’s foreign-owned clients in the US.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain practical experience across all facets of US and German auditing and tax consulting.
• Support international accounting, auditing, and tax projects for foreign-owned subsidiaries.
• Receive training in professional tools, including ProSystems Engagement and Microsoft Excel.
• Execute specific tasks such as preparing bank reconciliations, conducting cash audits, and formulating tax estimates.
• Collaborate within a high-performing, interdisciplinary team on challenging international assignments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics with a specialization in (international) accounting, auditing, and/or tax, having completed at least three semesters.
• Experience: Demonstrated theoretical and/or practical exposure to accounting and/or tax functions.
• Skills: Fluent knowledge of German and English (written and spoken), strong analytical abilities, high quality awareness, self-initiative, and effective teamwork skills.
• Bonus: Prior internships abroad or additional professional qualifications are advantageous.
