The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at GALLO, offered as a Hybrid Telecommute role. GALLO is a family-owned company with over 90 years of legacy, recognized for its extensive portfolio of 130+ alcohol beverage brands, including top wine and spirits brands like Barefoot Wine and High Noon. This role offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by applying their academic knowledge to meaningful business challenges. The intern will support financial and business analysis, contributing fresh perspectives to inform management decisions and learn how finance shapes the company’s direction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Support financial and business-related analysis, research, and special projects for management.
• Planning: Prepare work plans and schedules related to financial activities.
• Performance Review: Analyze areas such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment.
• Reporting: Contribute to reports that identify options and recommended actions for management consideration.
• Skill Development: Apply your field of study in a business environment, building practical skills and strengthening communication abilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled at a college or university and working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, OR Economics to be obtained between specified dates.
• Experience: Required to be 18 years or older.
• Skills: Self-motivated, collaborative, and possessing analytical thinking.
• Bonus: Rising Junior or Senior class standing. Experience with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, Outlook, and JDE. Knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this particular field of specialization.
