2027 Summer Associate – Finance Internship | UPMC

This is a full-time internship at UPMC, located in Pittsburgh, PA. What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support a specific finance function within Corporate Services, Health Services, or Insurance Services.
• Analyze: Engage with financial planning, analysis, accounting, reporting, revenue cycle management, and transaction support.
• Network: Network with UPMC Executives and participate in mentorship activities.
• Develop: Enhance professional skills through hands-on experience and training.
• Impact: Contribute to projects that influence patient care and understand the finance division’s role.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level college student currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field. A High School Diploma is strongly preferred.
• Experience: Availability to participate in a full-time, 10-week program from June to August 2027.
• Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, emerging leadership abilities, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
• Bonus: A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, along with demonstrated leadership ability through studies, employment, or extracurricular activities.
