The Tone:
This is a full-time analyst program at Citi, located in Irving, TX, designed for recent graduates to launch their careers in Internal Audit. Citi is a global financial services organization that provides independent assessments of its governance, risk management, and internal control environment for key stakeholders. This role is crucial for enhancing the control culture across Citigroup worldwide, directly supporting senior management decision-making by providing valuable insights.

• Mission: To provide independent assessments of the company’s governance, risk management, and internal control environment to enhance the control culture and support senior management decision-making.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Across core audit areas such as Finance, Markets & Services, Tech, Business Enablement & AI, Legal, Compliance & Risk as part of a 24-month rotational leadership program.
• Assist: With end-to-end audit engagements, covering planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting phases.
• Complete: Audit workpapers, including assessing the design and operational effectiveness of key controls.
• Analyze: Data and business trends to identify emerging risk patterns within various functions.
• Collaborate: With cross-functional teams to assess control effectiveness and recommend improvements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level candidates graduating with a Bachelor’s degree or a dual Bachelor’s and Master’s between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Experience: Applicants must not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, strong oral and written communication skills, quick thinking and detail oriented, ability to multi-task, intellectually curious and willing to ask questions.
• Bonus: A preferred GPA of at least 3.3; finance education or experience is a plus.
