What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Management: Support financial functions related to business acquisition (proposals) and program execution (programs).
• Invoicing: Set up, validate, and generate complex invoices for various customers, ensuring timely and contract-compliant processing.
• Stakeholder Guidance: Provide daily customer interface and billing guidance to Contracts and Program Finance teams.
• Reconciliation: Perform invoice and account receivable reconciliations to ensure billing accuracy.
• Audit & Improvement: Support internal and external audits and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This entry-level internship is open to applicants actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution. Eligible fields of study include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline, preparing candidates for roles involving financial analysis and management within a corporate setting.
• Experience: While no specific prior professional experience is explicitly required for this internship, candidates who possess experience with customer or management reporting will be considered a strong advantage.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial tasks, along with overall competence in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint) for communication and documentation.
