The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: Multiple California Offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Long Beach, Sacramento)
• Pay: $30.00–$35.00 hourly
• Team: Part of a team of dedicated audit experts, supported by a personal Coach and Buddy.
• Mission: To learn and perform audit procedures, assessing the accuracy and completeness of financial statements while identifying material misstatements or discrepancies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training: Receive comprehensive Assurance training from the Learning & Development team and key Assurance leaders.
• Analysis: Learn how to analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify any material misstatements or discrepancies.
• Procedures: Learn and perform audit procedures, examining financial records, transactions, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Controls: Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal control systems implemented by clients.
• Engagement: Engage in regional intern events, executive speaker sessions with firm partners, and collaborate with fellow interns on a project to showcase acquired knowledge and skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program), with a graduation date between 07/2027 – 12/2029.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Educational Licensure Requirements, and ability to start in January.
