What You’ll Actually Do
• Closing Support: Support the essential month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reporting Assistance: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Data Verification: Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Compliance Participation: Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.
• Financial Insights: Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires active enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a closely related field. Candidates must be a rising sophomore, rising junior, or rising senior to be eligible for this Fall 2027 Co-op program.
• Experience: A strong academic record with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is essential. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for this role, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for collaborating effectively within the team and across departments. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, coupled with a detail-oriented approach and a high level of accuracy, is also required.
• Bonus: Candidates with prior relevant internships or co-op program experience are preferred. A capacity to quickly learn and adapt to additional software applications as required by specific assignments will also be advantageous.
