Intern – Finance | Orgill

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Orgill, located in Collierville, TN. Orgill is a large, global organization, and this role provides students with the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world financial situations. The Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting financial activities, analysis, reporting, and various projects that help drive Orgill’s business operations. This position is crucial for developing a broad understanding of how finance functions within a global company while working alongside experienced finance professionals and business partners.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support critical finance initiatives: Support a variety of financial projects and initiatives within an assigned functional area, encompassing financial planning & analysis, accounting, and general finance operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports: Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and comprehensive data collection, helping to prepare critical reports, presentations, and spreadsheets for business partners.
• Contribute to financial planning and control: Help with budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities, including assisting with reconciliations, account research, and supporting internal controls.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis: Analyze financial and operational data, including cost analysis, to identify key trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas to enhance overall efficiency.
• Collaborate and develop professionally: Collaborate with finance professionals and business partners across the organization, participate in meetings and professional development, and complete a meaningful project contributing to team goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Ability to commit to the full internship program from June–August 2027 and work onsite at Orgill’s Collierville Home Office for the duration of the program.
• Skills: Foundational understanding of financial concepts, proficiency in data and financial analysis, basic accounting principles (including general ledger, AP/AR), and an aptitude for process improvement and financial reporting.
