The Tone:
This is a 24-month rotational program for early career professionals at Siemens Energy, with assignments across various US locations, including Orlando, Houston, Alpharetta, Raleigh, and Charlotte. This role is crucial as finance professionals support strategic decision-making, drive business performance, and help power the global energy market, contributing to the energy transition and shaping the future of energy.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Support forecasting, budgeting, month-end close activities, financial analysis, and management reporting to influence key business decisions.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Power BI, SAP, financial systems, Snowflake, Alteryx

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, financial analysis, project finance, and business controlling activities across various rotations.
• Analyze: Financial and operational data using tools like Excel, Power BI, and SAP to deliver actionable insights.
• Partner: With finance leaders and cross-functional teams to improve reporting, inform business decisions, and strengthen business performance.
• Contribute: To process improvement, automation, and AI-driven initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy within finance operations.
• Build: Finance, business, and leadership capabilities through meaningful assignments, mentorship opportunities, and collaboration across the organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, data analytics, or other business-related fields, with graduation by May 2027.
• Experience: Minimum 3.2 GPA and relevant prior work experience, with an interest in data analytics, corporate functions, project management, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
• Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights, strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a curious, proactive working style.
• Bonus: Preferred experience with Excel and other data tools such as PowerBI, Snowflake, and/or Alteryx.
