The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to AP/AR Supervisor
• Mission: This person will manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accurate financial operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Explore the intricacies of invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
• Record Keeping: Scan, bind, and archive invoices, maintaining hard copies until payment processing is complete.
• Data Entry & Posting: Inquire about and post all invoices for assigned yards, verifying quantity and pricing accuracy.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve differences between purchase orders and vendor invoices by collaborating with plants, vendors, and the merchandising department.
• Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and enter invoice data, including verification for non-purchase order invoices.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience: Preferred one year of clerical experience in accounts payable.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, keen attention to detail, and good math skills.
• Bonus: A genuine passion for finance, a strong desire to learn and adapt with a positive attitude, and a professional customer service manner.
