What You’ll Actually Do
• Vision Development: Works with key stakeholders to develop product vision and convey it to the Agile team and the organization, serving as the primary communicator.
• Roadmap Execution: Executes the product roadmap, defining where the product is headed over the mid to long term.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Builds alignment with key stakeholders to secure support for the product roadmap and ensure continuous validation of features and stories.
• Backlog Management: Ensures the development team understands items in the backlog, plans iterations, and upholds clear acceptance criteria for “done” increments.
• Impediment Resolution: Actively manages external dependencies and impediments that could impact the team’s completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field, leading others to solve complex problems.
• Experience: 6-8+ years of experience in the financial services or technology industry.
• Skills: Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills; strong understanding of the product and the needs of the business; ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization; excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Bonus: Master’s degree or equivalent, experience as a Product Owner on an Agile team, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Seismic Certified Administrator and/or Workfront System Administrator Certification.
