Operations Career Development Program | Swagelok

The Tone:
This is a full-time career development program role at Swagelok, located in Solon, Strongsville, Eastlake, Highland Hills, or Willoughby, OH. Swagelok is a manufacturing organization focused on developing talent for operational and technical leadership. This program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders and technical professionals by providing broad, rich operational and business experiences, ensuring participants are well-prepared for significant contributions to the organization.

• Mission: Develop future leaders and technical professionals by providing diverse hands-on operational and business experiences across various functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage in hands-on operational roles to understand the intricacies of the business.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and innovation.
• Lead and/or support small to mid-size projects and programs.
• Present end-of-rotation summaries to key company leaders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business, or a related field. This role is for participants who have completed their first rotation within the Operations Career Development Program.
• Experience: Demonstrated increased scope of responsibility in learning and overall performance/competencies after completing the first rotation. Willingness to work in one of our Northeast Ohio locations (Solon, Strongsville, Eastlake, Highland Hills, or Willoughby) without relocation support.
• Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent project management capabilities. Ability and desire to lead others. Effective at juggling multiple priorities in an organized manner. Displays a range of problem-solving skills, from logical to creative.
• Bonus: Co-op or other relevant experience in a professional operations capacity. Demonstrated leadership experience through campus activities, work experience, and community involvement.
