Relationship Manager- Corporate Banking | Mashreq
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Mashreq, located in-person. Mashreq builds and delivers tailored banking solutions for corporate clients. This role is crucial for managing and growing a portfolio of these clients, driving sustainable revenue across various banking products, and maintaining strong credit quality and compliance standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned corporate clients, building long-term trusted relationships with key decision makers through regular visits to understand their business needs, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Revenue Generation: Grow portfolio revenues through cross-selling working capital, term loans, trade finance, cash management, CASA mobilization, Treasury, and FX solutions, while also actively acquiring new-to-bank corporate relationships.
• Credit & Risk Assessment: Prepare high-quality credit proposals and annual reviews, analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and industry risks to monitor account conduct and ensure portfolio quality within the bank’s risk appetite.
• Portfolio Oversight: Track client performance versus projections, follow up on overdue payments, required documentation, and covenant compliance, and maintain updated client files and KYC documentation.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with internal teams such as Credit, Trade Finance, Operations, and Treasury to expedite client requests and ensure seamless service delivery and timely turnaround.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-to-Senior level professional with core domain knowledge in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking. A credit course is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking.
• Skills: Strong credit analytical capability, financial spreading, and modeling skills; proven relationship management and negotiation skills; effective portfolio management and problem-solving abilities; and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: CFA certification.
