What You’ll Actually Do
• Review: Examine processes and records to confirm alignment with established policies and requirements.
• Research: Investigate regulatory and industry requirements, then clearly summarize their potential impact on the company.
• Document: Collect necessary evidence, maintain comprehensive compliance trackers, and thoroughly document all review results.
• Support: Provide assistance for monitoring activities, internal or external audits, and the remediation of identified issues.
• Report: Prepare clear reports, relevant metrics, and timely status updates for various stakeholders within the organization.
• Coordinate: Collaborate with legal, security, operations, and product teams on various compliance-related tasks and initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level role focused on regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Experience: Comfort working with spreadsheets, documentation, and structured review workflows for compliance processes.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, robust research ability, clear written communication, ability to interpret policies and apply requirements consistently, sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information, and the ability to organize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Bonus: Coursework, internship, certification, or project experience in compliance, audit, legal, privacy, or security; exposure to privacy, consumer protection, employment, financial, or technology compliance; familiarity with GRC, ticketing, case management, or document management tools; or experience supporting an audit, policy review, or control assessment.
