Technology Analyst Training Program | PURE Insurance

The Tone:
This is a full-time, hybrid role at PURE Insurance, based in Warren, NJ, and White Plains, NY, with an expected start date of October 2026. You will apply your expertise to design and develop software solutions, contributing directly to the evolution of PURE’s technology landscape and enhancing the member experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Participate in a paid, comprehensive rotational training program that covers the full software development lifecycle, including Business Analysis, Development, and Production Support functions.
• Analyze: Build and maintain product backlogs using Agile practices, breaking down high-level features into deliverable user stories with defined acceptance criteria, and facilitate User Acceptance Testing.
• Develop: Analyze business requirements, design solutions for architectural review, and then unit test and implement features based on approved designs, learning to build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and ECS.
• Support: Troubleshoot, analyze, and respond to escalated production support cases, perform root cause analysis to develop preventative solutions, and communicate effectively and empathetically with stakeholders.
• Learn: Gain a deep understanding of Agile development methodology and its role in successful technology delivery, while consistently developing solutions with quality assurance in mind.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. This is an early career role designed for upcoming Spring 2026 graduates.
• Experience: Strong background in coding with proficiency in at least one of Java, JavaScript, or Python. Familiarity with relational databases and an understanding of SQL.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, along with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Bonus: A keen interest in technology, innovation, and the high net worth insurance market.
