• Mission: To ensure overall system quality prior to customer release by creating and maintaining automated tests.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Automation: Create and maintain automated tests from manual test scripts and test cases.
• Testing: Test complex API, web, and mobile based applications that utilize database back-end systems.
• Development: Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of tests through continuous integration.
• Debugging: Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems, then verify the implemented fixes.
• Collaboration: Provide feedback and recommendations to Engineering teams on software usability and functionality.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience; broad theoretical knowledge of applicable work area; knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in QA/Test Automation.
• Skills: Hands-on coding ability, knowledge of programming concepts and object-oriented programming language, strong problem-solving skills, ability to read complex manual test cases, familiarity with basic builds and deployments.
• Bonus: Strong automation background with API and web testing; comfortable debugging issues and collaborating with developers; experience working in Agile environments.
