Compliance Analyst, Entry Level | Jobright.ai

The Tone:

The Compliance Analyst supports policy adherence and regulatory compliance through research, control and process reviews, monitoring, audit support, remediation tracking, documentation, and stakeholder reporting. This role offers high ownership and impact, directly contributing to building real, production AI agents and shaping how people experience AI-driven job search.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Review processes: Examine company processes and records to confirm alignment with established policies and external requirements.
• Research requirements: Investigate regulatory and industry requirements, then synthesize and summarize their potential impact on the business.
• Document results: Gather necessary evidence, maintain compliance trackers, and thoroughly document the outcomes of all review activities.
• Support compliance: Assist with ongoing monitoring activities, support internal or external audits, and help track remediation efforts for identified issues.
• Report to stakeholders: Create clear and concise reports, metrics, and status updates to inform various stakeholders about compliance posture.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and apply requirements consistently in a professional context.
• Experience: Experience working with spreadsheets, documentation, and structured review workflows; demonstrating sound judgment with confidential or sensitive information; and organizing multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, proven research ability, and excellent written communication capabilities.
• Bonus: Coursework, internship, certification, or project experience in compliance, audit, legal, privacy, or security. Exposure to privacy, consumer protection, employment, financial, or technology compliance. Familiarity with GRC, ticketing, case management, or document management tools. Experience supporting an audit, policy review, or control assessment.
