Clinical Operations Resident – MTM | Outcomes®

The Tone:
This is a full-time post-graduate residency program at Outcomes®, located in West Des Moines, IA. Outcomes® is an organization that provides experience in MTM program administration, helping pharmacists improve healthcare quality and cost. This role is crucial in teaching pharmacists how to provide patient-oriented medication therapy management services that positively impact the quality and rising cost of healthcare.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Clinical Engine Management: Develop and maintain clinical rules for the Insight™ Clinical Engine.
• Program Implementation: Implement and maintain clinical programs in accordance with clinical guidelines and CMS regulations.
• Client Co-Management: Co-manage clients from a clinical perspective, which includes attending calls and assisting with follow-ups.
• Intervention Creation: Manage the creation of Feature Interventions.
• Project Presentation: Complete a project and present the final analysis at both the IPA Annual Meeting and the IPA Advance Practice Forum.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Doctorate, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy, at an entry-level career stage.
• Experience: Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the United States and must be licensed within 120 days of hire date.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple projects.
• Bonus: Eligible for pharmacist licensure in Iowa is preferred.
