Junior Scheduler | STV

• Mission: This role is pivotal in supporting scheduling efforts, managing document control, and assisting with project administration to ensure project teams have organized and current information for timely and efficient project delivery.
• Tech Stack: Primavera P6, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Scheduling Support: Assist senior project controls or scheduling staff with the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules.
• Schedule Management: Support schedule updates, progress tracking, and basic schedule reporting, including assisting with deliverables using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
• Document Control Management: Support day-to-day document control activities, including logging, tracking, filing, and distributing project documents.
• Project Administration: Maintain organized electronic filing systems in accordance with project and company standards and support project controls reporting and administrative tasks as needed.
• Stakeholder Communication: Interface professionally with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders, preparing basic written communications, logs, and reports with attention to detail and clarity.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field, or equivalent experience. This is an early-career opportunity ideal for growth within project controls.
• Experience: Some exposure to project scheduling concepts and tools, along with a willingness to perform document control and administrative project support duties.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Bonus: Internship or entry-level experience in project controls, scheduling, construction management, or engineering support; familiarity with Primavera P6; a basic understanding of CPM scheduling concepts; and experience or interest in document control or project administration in an AEC or construction environment.
