Associate Project Manager – PM Next | Siemens

The Tone:

• Team: PMO in Electrification and Automation (EA) and Protection and Automation (P&A) Team
• Mission: Support the Project Management team for the successful execution of projects from initiation through final closeout, contributing to future project management expertise.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Assist Project Managers across all project phases, ensuring successful execution, including managing milestone deliverables, documentation, case management, and financial tracking.
• Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the Customer Care team to develop use cases that support project acceptance and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver monthly status reports, customer progress updates, change proposals, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Project Closure: Lead the final customer acceptance milestones, ensuring completion of all required documentation, equipment acceptance, and financial closeout requirements.
• Resource & Schedule Management: Coordinate the development and maintenance of project schedules, track resources and progress, and manage punch lists through cross-functional coordination.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, with basic knowledge and understanding of power distribution and the ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings and customer specifications.
• Experience: Project management or engineering internship work experience, with a requirement for 10% national and international travel.
• Skills: Excellent coordination skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Business Administration, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
